I saw Pearl Jam in St. Louis open for Smashing Pumpkins 'round about 1992. I think Eddie jumped in and went swimming if my foggy memory is right, which is really pretty suspect.

I saw them at the 2nd Lollapalooza back in 1992. They were one of the opening bands. It was pretty good -- they did a Who cover too (probably Won't Get Fooled Again).

I saw pearl jam live in 93 or 94 in the CU field house, the concert that got them banned from boulder for a while if not permanently....

amazing show, other than vedder stopping the show to have the rabid fans strip the security guards of their communications equipment....that wasn't cool

but other than that, it was one of if not the best shows I've seen live ...
actually all the shows I've seen in that little field house were awesome, Midnight Oil comes to mind....

Speaking of good music - you might like this one Perry. Back in the day - probably 1994 or so, I saw Dave Matthews open for Big Head Todd. I think I was somewhere in Ohio. That was just before Dave blew up...
Snap, I saw the same show in Orlando at the EDGE for $5 bucks!!! Best show of my life!
