Stopped by Crash's today to put the front stabilizer bar on and based on all these comments about 31s being too small and 33s being ideal, Steve was cool enough to let me throw his 34-10fiddi suppa swampers on. Now, it looks sweet and worst of it is the loved how the truck looked and asked when she can take it for a drive! Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.

To address a few questions, yep, she's a 60 Matt with 62 mirrors. Wes, I like the TLC calipers, but need to update my master brake cylinder to either a T100 or 80 before ABS--need more juice to optimize those babies.

Enjoy the pics cause I'm lovin' the rig right now.

Carlton, those swampers look aweful nice! I did some weight research. My 31 inch michelins on 21 lb aluminum rims total 64 lbs. My steel wheels are 3 lbs more. So...33/10.50 BFG KM2 tires on an aluminum rim would be 70 lbs...only three lbs more than when I had my tires on steelies, and it ran fine. That tall, bad boy deserves 33s. I think your gearing would be fine.

It's a slippery slope we weave.....when you return the tires you can see what the pre-80 master cylinder looks like attached to a 62 booster and maybe check the ARB on the front a little closer than you have before. And....
