Volunteer tech's needed for all makes for this year's Wrench-a-thon to be held Sunday April 25th at Peterson AFB. There are 25 bays available. Send me a PM for more details on participating.

This is the big fund raiser for the Colorado Wheelers for the Wounded event that's scheduled for Saturday July 17, 2010.

On Sunday April 25th Wheelers for the Wounded (WFTW) will hold a charity wrench-a-thon at the Peterson Auto Skills Center at Peterson AFB in CO Springs. The event will be from 9:00am until 6:30pm. This is the main fund raising event for the July WFTW trail run.

We're looking for Toyota, Jeep and other Tech's willing to volunteer their labor for the event. Additionally we will have many of the WFTW staff there to help get the projects done fast! We'll have use of several service bays, a welder and a plasma cutter.

Those interested in having some work done on their vehicle, will post up their requests on the various 4X4 boards around the Front Range with a thread on the event. The work will be performed on a donation scale. Donations will be a % (undecided at this point) of the typical ASE cost for the job.

Participants just need to bring their project to the event! Hope this helps

so we work on our own rigs, or we work on other peoples rigs? if we're working on our own, is the benefit having a place to work on them?

Its both if you want. And the other benefit is that with the donations, it'd be helping out a good cause.
