Been staying at the Hilux Hilton for years now, it's not right for everyone but we dig 'em.

They're 8' tall in the middle, 3" thick full size mattress, 2 feet off the deck and snow/mud/sand. Where ever you are, you're home.

Pull in, 30 seconds to level the truck and 2 minutes to pop the roof before you're cracking your first frosty one with your flat, comfy Pickup Penthouse for the night.

I have not made it yet! I will help you lift it off, though.

Use dolly to roll tent over to the 2x4's.

Lean tent on 2x4's, remove dolly.

slide tent up the 2x4's and onto the rack.

Bolt tent to rack.

Same in reverse to remove it.

Usually takes 10 minutes.

Martin, do you think it would work on an 80 that is a little over 8" over stock?

My Ezi-Awn is the big one that weighs over 150 lbs...

Longer 2x4's and 2 people, should be able to do it. Another way I tried that worked well was to pull my pickup along side the 60, lift the tent into the truck bed, stand in the bed and then lift it onto the 60 roof.
