Default VIN Question

Hey guys,

I am heading to Arizona on April 7th to pick up a '76 FJ40. I want to make sure that all the numbers match before I complete the transaction when I get down there. So...

On a '76, where are the VIN plates that I'd need to match? Front frame rail? Firewall? Fender? Do these things have the metal plate by the driver's side door like the 60 Series?

I am new to 40s, but can't wait to own one finally!

Thanks. Is there also a decal under the hood that should reflect the same number?
