Default Small Piece of Aluminum Needed

Having a heck of a time finding it, but I need a small piece of aluminum (type doesn't matter) with dimensions of 3" wide by 1/8" thick (0.120" or 0.125" thick, doesn't need to be exact). Need about 5 inches length of it so I hate to order 4 feet or whatever and none of the hardware stores have thicker 12" pieces wider than 2". Anyone got a piece of scrap?

I have some diamond plate, will that work or does it need to be smooth?

May have some too, just depends on the width and if it is thin enough.

Default Sign Panel

It sounds like what you need is a piece of aluminum sign panel. I've got a few scraps around that you can have. One side will be nice reflective material.

I'm over by All City Stadium. I used to work with Kirsten. We met once at a company picnic.

I have a Tae Kwon Do tourney for the boy this morning but should be around later this afternoon.

Another good source for stuff like this is the Surplus tool store on west Alameda. It can be hit or miss in there but he ususally has signs.

If you are interested in what I've got you can email me smmorgan08@msn.com if you want to get a hold of me. I can email a phone number or let you know when I get home later.
