Thanks Steve. Yes the rear bumper caught my eye. I think I recall you mentioning this idea in Zach's resto thread. I like how that looks! Seems like with very minimal effort I can lift a pre '76 Pig to fit my 235/85-16 Yokos. But first, find the right truck. I really want Ige's '76 "no bondo" Pig, but I have yet to raise the cash she suggested. That pig has a proven power plant so I can just drive it while the body work comes along. That's the kind of truck I want. A driver.

Anywhoooos, Your Pig is certainly inspiring to more than just me.

Yeah, I have to admit to shedding a tear during that read. I can't really justify buying any of his products but now I want to, ya know? My dogs went everywhere with me, they saved my sanity after the divorce. I have their ashes in boxes, waiting for the right place to present itself. I know they are free, but it's also hard to let go of the physical part I have left.

And a picture of it when newer...courtesy the original owner via mud.

As for sightings, after I sold it to a guy in Fort Collins, the roof was chopped to restore a different pig, and the running gear and what was left of the body was sold to another guy in Grand Junction, who happened to know one of my cruiser-head buddies out there. I guess this guy has a pristine southern 55 shell was was going to throw it on the old running gear from my cruiser. I really ought to try and document the life of that piggy, its been all over CO, and probably the rest of the country.

Too cool! I ended up with the grill and some misc parts from that Pig. I saw the roof cap in Jason's garage...

I am pig-less. Sold it to fund my FJ45 lust. Now I'm back to two FJ40s, which is fine.

That's very funny. Some things take forEVER to die.
