Sell it on Craig's list and by yourself a stove, propane tank and extenstion to set up your lantern. I did this in Moab, it worked great. Copied Hants' set up but don't think I took a close up pic.

I think your best bet is to change out the fitting to run one of propane bottles that you can buy today. I'm sure someone has probably done it on that vintage stove site.

You will certainly be allowed on Rudy's vintage camping trip with it

Agreed, I would look into swapping out the "Gerry/Roberts" needle for a Lindal valve fitting and stick with butane or the new iso mixes. By design that stove is liquid inject and using gas from Brunton, Primus or Snowpeak it would kick any propane stove a$$ in cold weather or at altitude.
