Default OMG! Look at what I found!

I found these pictures behind some others in an old photo album. This is my very first 4 wheeler that I bought brand new in 1973, when I was a mechanic at Lakewood Fordland. This picture was taken a few days after I bought it so I am 19 1/2 years old. Look at all of that hair......... The other guy is Dale, was my best friend and wheeling buddy until he moved back to Pennsylvania. He's the one who talked me in to selling my Mustang and buying the Bronco.

It was a Ranger with a 302 and auto trans. By that summer you can see that the rear fender wells were cut and it had Desert Dog 33" tires on chrome wheels. The DD tires were the hottest off road tires going at the time. So, as you can see, modifying 4 wheelers is not something recent for me.

OK, I showed you mine, now it's time to show everyone yours. Lets see some pictures of your first wheeling rig or if that doesn't go back far enough, lets see your first car and a photo of you from the same approximate time.

My first Land Cruiser, a 1975 FJ40 nicknamed "Ugly75." Picture from September 1996, about two months after Karie and I got married.

Bought new in 1979. The truck was white when new. Within a year I had a V8, stepside kit, convertible kit, and painted black.
