Default Transmission's

Had everything up by Saturday afternoon but just got my first chance to transmit with a good friend of mine. Extremely happy so far. Just used Simplex operation and was about 2 miles from each other. He had a rubber ducky during this exercise so I am pretty impressed. Think we will try again this evening once he is at his home base to see if we can get through to each other. About 4-6 miles from Congress Park to Capitol Hill.

Next steps will be to try out the repeaters but need to get the etiquette down a little better prior to getting on.
