Default Bill Moore Lake, Mill Creek Loop

Crash, Nattybumpo and I took some time yesterday for a great day of wheeling. Couldn't quite reach Bill Moore Lake, so Crash took us down and around Mill Creek. A great day of wheelin'.

Did you get to the mud bog area below the lake, or was that still snowed in? I'm wondering how bad that area has become. Last time I was up in the area there were lots of alternate routes being carved out to avoid the mud.

I was up there last Oct. and FS came in and buldozed the mud pit below the lake.

What? No moose pic? Saving that one for the TT article, no doubt! Midweek wheeling at its finest and we were serenaded by Theo on the CB who had more fun than the big boys. Still plenty of big drifts two miles from the lake on the last south facing high points so it may be another few weeks before it will be possible to start down the northern facing slopes. A couple of folks have tried off-trail go-arounds but nothing really stupid, yet. We will, no doubt, report back on that front because we are going back for more soon.
