Default North Twin Cone Peak Trail #126

Has any one in RS run this this summer? What is it like? TD has a report from last year and it looks like it has a great view. Too much for a stock 60 probably but with a rear locker?

Twin Cone on the east side of Kanosha pass? I have run it a few times, but not this summer. Good fun trail. There is a loose hill climb that would be a challenge for an open truck. View are great at the top. When you are at the top look north and you can see the big Red Cone fin you drop down from the top of Red Cone pass.

Have fun!

Pam and I with our 3 dogs ran up there early,no other traffic at all. I only got thru the first sets of obstacles past timberline with some rock stacking and backing up. The wife quickly lost interest so we ran down some back FS roads to Tarryall reservoir and then on some more XC to Como. I will try Twin Cone again after I get a locker and take the ramps. Beautiful day!
