Man, this is good stuff! Spent four days out there and saw no one! In the bottom of the valley, the sage was six feet high, and ruins littered the valley.

PS; My back is not happy from hauling all that camera gear 10 miles a day,l but man was it worth it!!

There's probably more than one Dark Canyon in Utah, but were you in the Grand Gulch Primitive Area? How about Gravel Canyon, White Canyon, or maybe Arch Canyon?
