Just sprinkle some gasoline around in there, then at least it will have that familiar and alluring fj40 smell.

a small packet of hops for beer does the trick.. cascade or fuggle

Too bad It's an auto tranny, cause you could just rip out the carpet and tear off the shifter boots. 90 wt. aroma and gear noise, Macho!!! Then you WEAR the leather!

I didn't read the entire thread, but one of my 60s used to be a crew truck for a snow plow team, and when I bought it there were drier sheets hidden everywhere. Despite winters full of sweat and wet and prob cigarettes, it doesn't smell bad at all!
