Default FSM for a 97 Land Cruiser

I called toyota (800-622-2033) trying to order a FSM for my truck was told that Toyota will not be getting any more manuals ever. Has anyone else tried to get one. I've talked to a couple of dealers and they just refer me to the number listed above. Please let me know where else I should try. She did tell me that have the EDW, but not the service manual...

Thanks!!

I see them show up on ebay periodically (several a month?) for 95, 96 or 97. I got a '95 FSM for $50-60 off there.

Set up a query on ebay for the Land Cruiser FSM for those years, and then have it email you daily with findings.

Does Toyota still offer the electronic download version? There is a thread on MUD that talks about it. IIRC it takes some work to download it all and it is sort of messy to navigate through all of it but you'd have the manual (electronic version of it anyway).

My other thought would be to give CDan (Cruiserdan) at American Toyota a call and see if by chance they might have one in stock? Not sure if the dealerships ever stock the FSMs or not.
