I thought I heard him make that call yesterday...It was sketchy but then again I was around Broadway and County Line Rd at the time

I had the little SBB-1 on the 80, which I was driving yesterday. It's a great trail antenna but it really lacks for simplex around town. It can hit all the repeaters though.. but it's what I keep on there most of the time because it will fit in the garage. I was blasting out at 50w to hit Shawn, but couldn't hear him that well... but that's what the repeaters are for.

press 'alt' and type '0216' on the number pad. When you release the 'alt' the slashed zero shows up.

I love the character map alt codes.. my favorite us Alt-0176 for degree symbol, alt-0178 and 0179 for squared and cubed. Occasionally I'll use 188 and 189 for and but generally just type in decimals..

The 1680ft of air in my office must be 64f this morning..

Do you need a full keyboard for that to work? My netbook number keys do not have the desired effect and there's no numlock virtual ten-key on this thing either.

Yeah John that's a good point, it only works with a full keyboard with 10-key for me, doesn't work on the numbers across the top on the laptop.
