Checked it out on tuesday. Has a new dual exhaust (weird), moderate
rust in rear sill and corners, no recent smog test. Nicely original.
I may make an offer.

IMHO the "Hulk" is pretty stockish and you should probably take a look before deciding on this '76. If I had The $, I'd be first in line for that 40.

It looks like there's a lot of potential panel replacement lurking under that rear floor, rear sill and rear quarters. If you enjoy fabing and welding like I do and have a welder and fab tools you might enjoy the work. If not, it's gonna cost you a bundle $$$$ to get this body back to normal. Just don't get too caught up in the "price out the door".

I've got a "72 that I've had since "90 going under the knife this winter for many of the same issues and it has much heavier gauge metal but looks no worse on the surface than this guy.

I had those tires on when I slid my FJ60 into oncoming traffic and rolled. I'm jus sayin......

Agreed, if I bought this 40, on the list would be new tires...
