Default Need access to a hydraulic press in COS or Castle Rock

Anybody know of one in the area? I need to seperate my cam from its timing gear. My machinist doesn't have one, and all I've got is an arbor press that ain't cutting it. The only other machine shop I know of down here I won't do business with again.
TIA

Thats a good idea, Justin has one of those HF hydraulic presses that I used to press my carrier bearings on with.

I can also tell you that I installed a new timing gear on my cam. I just used my vice by opening the jaws wide enough for the cam body to clear but narrow enough for the cam gear to rest on them. 1 or 2 taps with the hammer on a brass drift and it popper right off.

No dice Randy. I already set it between the risers on my plasma table and hit the centerhole with an air hammer after soaking with PB Blaster overnight. It won't budge.

I did PM RLMS to check see if he can do it.

You can always buy one of those HF presses and keep it at my shop
