Changed my mind on the color, not the vehicle..sorry Christo

I like the River rock green mica.. Kind of a grey green but they only made that from 99-2002...

Found one with low miles, no diff lock. I know the 4 speed is not as desirable as the 5 speed but I think we have decided to have a more dedicated wheeling truck vs. a cross/over daily driver-wheeler.. So lower cost seems to be a better fit.

I doubt anyone here needs it, but I'm always available for help. I find it to be pretty easy. You drive it about 75/25 F/R. Descents require more attention than ascents. Other than that, stock birfield rules apply.

Found another one with very low mileage, 74k. If I could get the dealership to confirm a few facts, I would make an offer. I don't think I am dealing with an experienced sales person.

I replaced the carpet in my 2003 and the list price from the dealer was ~$1200. there are three carpet sections as I remember and the cost quoted above was for the forward two, not all three. The carpet swap is not that bad and the change made a big difference.

Here is the link to my carpet replacement thread: http://www.risingsun4x4club.org/foru...ht=2003+carpet

So I have a couple of 100s I am considering.. One in California and one in Nebraska.

The Cali vehicle has 20k less in miles and is a year older then the Nebraska car.

Is Nebraska considered a rust belt type state? It is not exactly in the rust belt.

I will call tomorrow and ask all the questions from the Nebraska sales guy, but the car looks in really clean condition and is priced closer to my budget. I am going to ask him to furnish the carfax.

From what I can see of the engine, it looks clean with no rust on the various bolts, doors like the line up well.

Nathaniel, you were looking for a 100 in Kansas originally, would you have bought one in Nebraska?

What are the years?

I wouldn't be afraid of Nebraska personally... climate there is not much different from here, right? I may rain a little more in the summer, but so what it rains a ton in Oregon and that's one of the best areas to pick up used vehicles.

The years are 01 and 02..

I like the 5 speed of the 03-05, but they are on average about 6-10k more, which is not that much accept it puts me back into wheeling 24-28k rig.

With a senior in high school, I could use the extra 6-10k for her college fund...

Also I am not interested in the newer year colors and Nav..

I really, really like the colors in the 01/02 window.
