You know you could have had that in your 80 a long time ago if you'd have just listened. Along with rear recliners... open center diff in low range....

The truck was completely dry inside the cabin and under the hood. I saw one comment on mud that this sensor has been re-designed 4 times. It also seems to only happen when it is very cold outside. The wife said it was kind of scary when it happens too, because the truck goes into limp mode.

I am probably sticking with a 100..either modding this one or getting my own..

Saw a few higher mileage LX470 100s that looked plenty nice and would make good family wheelers...

Probably will ride out the holidays and pull the trigger in January.. Man that seems really far out...Well back to Cargurus and Autotrader..

Maybe the club Christmas party helped my case but looks like once again Nakman was right.....Wife is going to let me mod the 100 vs. having to buy another one.

Now I just have to figure out how much I can spend with Christo each month, until Cruise Moab!!

Somebody in Vail scooped up a '98 LC with 43k miles on it last Friday from Kansas... Has to be as nice or nicer then the one I found in California.

There are plenty still out there to go around for those that are thinking of moving in this direction.

A few great sites I discovered along the way are Cargurus and cars for sale.

Both list over 100+, 100 series Land Cruisers of various mileage and wear.

Why bother? A snorkel wouldn't have helped Caribou's Runner. Hunnies have the same body Computers that Late model Runner/Tundra/Tacos/FJC's have. Snorkel will just be false security. Plus, personally I don't like the looks of them on huns....but that's just me....
