I looked at that truck the day they took it in on trade. It was fresh off of mom duty when I saw it, and my wife couldn't see through the grime. Amazing what a good buff, steam, and toothpick will produce. What a good detailer can do is worth every last penny.

I'm surprised it was in that bad of shape when you saw it. The interior is almost spotless now and I just figured it was always that way. The one thing I plan to do this weekend is a leather clean and condition with leatherique.

Nice looking rig, curious how the Leatherique will go. if you have time for any before and after shots, I would be interested.

Mine is an 01 with about 87k now. Leather looked good last year when I got it with 74k but seems to be aging fast... Was a Norcal vehicle, now a garaged Colorado rig, but I am guessing alot is the climate change from humid bay area to dry Colorado.

Sure, I'll post some before and after but they may not show much. The leather is in very good shape now. This is more a preventative maintenance item. I used Leatherique on my 97 80 with very good results. Worth every penny.

I need to do that to my leather too. Mine has only been here a month or so and it's already looking different than when I brought it home. Leather treatment might be a 6 month to 1 yr dealio here in Denver.

I wouldn't say it was that bad at all, more like average use for a family. Unless you are a complete car freak, if you have kids at all, the car can look like that after just 2 weeks. What's amazing is how much of that is really nothing more than a good clean. I would say average use is just dirt and not cuts, tears, massive dents, etc. I just saw coffee, food, and window smears. Just life stuff.
