Default Kodak Playsport digital video camera

Anyone with any experience with one of these: http://www.officedepot.com/a/product...-Camera-Black/

I think Yoder had one in his hand at CM11. I'll ping him but anyone else. 1080p waterproof to 3m. On sale for $120 right now. Seems like a great keep in the pocket item. Being waterproof maybe its sand proof too?

I have one. It takes good video but be sure to pick up a couple aftermarket batteries. The battery it came with died quickly. I only had mine a couple months before it crapped out.

I would recommend it. It looks awesome filmed at 1080p and viewed on an HD tv. I will be posting vids soon of moab. I took it on a family trip to Fl. for spring break and it worked well in the pool and beach. The battery lasted me 4 days in moab. SO complaints there.

Only downside is the trying to hold it still, the LCD viewfinder in the sun and the zoom. But, that's to be expected with such a small unit. Go for it.

I haven't tried to pull still shots out of the video with 3rd party software yet- nor have I used the kodak software. Just used windows7 file and folder management. Which I prefer anyway.
