Default 100 series drawer/storage

Spent a few hours last week building a box for the rear of my truck. $110 and some elbow grease. Stole most of my ideas from MUD. I used 5/8 plywood and 1 5/8 screws. It can be removed in a matter of minutes if I want to put a seat in the 3rd row. Eventually I'll build a drawer and a cover for the rt side. Used 3m spray adhesive and indoor/outdoor carpet. 1" Staples to hold carpet to end grain. There is an access panel on the left to store things behind the wheel well. I can get out the jack and other tools in the panel on the rear fender. Got the wife's stamp of approval.

That's the most important part. I definitely don't have it with mine. She drove my rig last week and complained about the lack of vision. Hope I can finish the drawer before CM11.

Looks cool Farnham, but I thought you were putting the tire back out on the bumper?

Yes, moving the spare for Cruise Moab. So I have that "spare tire on the bumper look"

We're not bring the camper this year so we'll need a little more trunk space. I plan to make 2 shelves that drop into place on the rt side. One for with and one without spare tire. I was also thinking it could work to mount a water container where the spare is currently?. I haven't come up with a good way to carry water in the cruiser yet.

I don't think Porter approves of that set up either.

James Krieger 'Woodsman" dropped by tonight for dinner en-route to the Ouray FJSummit..

He also happened to have a single drawer for me! Thanks James..

The craftsmanship on this drawer is really incredible.

If you want one like this or a dual system, send him a PM.

Now what to put in the drawer??

Outer dimensions are: 37x22x11

Inner dimensions are : 35x18x9

Beautiful!

Hey Chris question on your fridge eyelets- did you just drill holes through the floor and put washers underneath? Or are you tied into something else that was already part of the truck?
