Default Don't spend your time yet...

I'm workin with the area freq. coordinator to make sure we have a good plan for our event.

Dave and Nathaniel's previous list is excellent for the CM event in Utah. Just need to add a few more frequencies to cover the additional trails.

Also, I am not sure I'd bother programming the frequencies... It's easy enough to just punch the number into your mic.

Default last 4 freqs? are they simplex?

so, when I entered the last four freqs in the programming s/w, it defaulted to repeater-style input/output freq with an offset(??).

"Sevenmile Rim 27 145.610
Steel Bender 28 145.630
Tip Toe Behind the Rocks 29 145.650
Wipe Out Hill 30 145.670"

So based on the UT bandplan as stated below...are these simplex in UT? but repeater freqs elsewhere? Do I set to Simplex on these freqs?

thanks!

Some of those overlap with repeater inputs on the NATIONAL 2 meter band plan, but they are simplex channels on the Utah 2 meter band plan.

you can just remove the offset with your programming software and set the input/outputs the same but...

I think there will be some rework on your programming. This is still just "proposed." Waiting to hear back from the Utah frequency co-ordinator. Marco's plan is a pretty good one. What if you have to QSY if the frequency is already in use?

Default very good.

Thanks for the clarification, that's kinda what I thought. I'll hold off on loading the file onto the radio until we get the "A-OK".

I've been loading the Sinbad repeaters as well as some other random UT repeaters (both 144 and 440).

nope. No frequency co-ordinator has gotten back to me after I sent my proposal. Communications were good until I sent that document. No news is good news? I might have to just go with my proposal I sent to the frequency co-ordinator.

I won't be able to work on posting a list for you today or tonight as I'll be busy at the CM meeting tonight in Golden. maybe tomorrow/tomorrow night?
