I've had to replace mine a few times. The flat panel ones don't last very long.

That's a bummer. I've had my lights from George since the end of 2003 and they are still going strong.

I've got the PFRAN kit in my 80 with no issues yet. Its been a year. Much brighter than the ones I had from George which are now in the Subaru.

Hmmm. I'm on kit # 3 from Pfran. All the doors and single socket LED's work perfect. It's the 2 flat panel 48 LED ones over the back seat and cargo area that keep blinking out. I just bought 6 extra from Pfran last week. He is very good about throwing in some extras for whatever you need.

What could be going on with mine that I keep losing them?

my 40 eats LED's of any flavor but my 60 does not.

I understand it has something to do with it not having very stable voltage maybe? Maybe it is an alternator thing?

I'm no expert. I already had door lights when I got his kit so I used the single bulbs in my front and rear marker lights. So those are on much more than the interiors. No issues. The large interior panels don't flicker? Been really happy with all of them. Plan to order another kit for the camper.
