Default Chokecherry - Farmington, NM June 2011

We had 6 Toyotas all banging on the rocks yesterday. Dave and family came down from Denver with his 80; Steve brought his 40, good buddy Land and Aunt; Sara and kids in the 80 with new sliders and rear bumper; Patrick and wife in his rebuilt recently rolled 80 with new 37's; JT was there in his 80; and me in the Taco.

We ran RJs's Trail and Arch Trail. Had a great time. Temps were up there, but the occasional cloud cover and slight breeze made it quite tolerable. Especially for those of us with AC Dave was pretty amazing with his open diffs, but RJ's proved once to be a little too much and I got to use my new 9k Badland winch from Harbor Freight again. It's working great.

Video of Steve climbing a crazy knoll. https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/phot...eat=directlink

Trail Damage:
- Patrick smacked his rocker panel, back door no longer opens
- I ran into a tree while gawking at Noggin Hill on Arch Trail. Too gnarly for any of to even try. Broke the passenger side headlight mounts.
