We had the 40 out this week with the little one doing a little exploring. She has been saying "40!", "Drive!", "Woods!" all week. The fold and tumble Bestop bench has been working out really well.

She's getting big! That's what it's all about.

Wow Marin, what a cutie-pie!

Martin, did you get the 41" wide version? That is what it is spec'd at but it seems to fit fine. How was the install? I am heading this direction this month if possible.

Thanks, yep she's growing fast and super-cute.

Drew, I'm pretty sure it's the 41", (or larger of the 2 sizes) of what Bestop offers. This one was the CCOT model that comes with the custom FJ40 mounts and seat belts. More expensive for the mounts and belts vs. buying a seat from Bestop, but since I didn't have the time/skills to fabricate mounts, this worked great for me. Took about an hour to install and required drilling 3 holes in the 40 tub for the belts.

Cool thanks. Bestop only made a 33" version for the CJ series and the 41" for the TJ's... the bigger one is what I am looking at.

I hope to make a drawer box underneath the seat, obviously not high maybe 4" max... but I will need to see what that does to the overall hieght of the seat in relation to the roll bar plans.

If it works thats cool, if not, I will use soft bags in the rear.
