Thank you everyone that let me ride shotgun today; I had "peak fun". It was nice to see all the 40's and it got me motivated to get mine running again.

P.S. - I washed my hair twice and I still can't get rid of that diesel smell.

Rick and Jennifer had a very good time and I'm glad my 40 was able to make the run. Martin, thanks for putting this together each year. While the Rising Sun Club is inclusive of all the 4x4 rigs; it is really special to see the 40 series all together. Jennifer snapped a bunch of photos and here are a few.

There were so many nice lookin' blue 40's on the trip it was hard to tell which one was yours Ricardo. theboomboom took good care of it though.

It was nice to make it all the way to the top for once - the views up there are stunning. We think we counted 50+ people on the Gray's and Torrey's hike across the valley baggin' their 14'ers for this summer.

The trail was extremely clean and their was little to no trash in the campsites along the way. We've done a good job with our work days.

Thanks Martin for another great 40's run.
