What do you keep in your Pelican case? I've got a decent size one but don't generally travel with stuff that needs the protection of the case.

This will be my first one I've ever owned. I think I'm going to set this one up as my first aid kit. Need to see the size when it shows up. I'd like a larger one as a tool box in the future.

I'd like more but they are so expensive at retail.

Default Camera stuff, extra Ham stuff, survival?

I put my camera stuff in pelican/Hardigg cases.

And thinking about putting my extra HT, some coax, parts, and other misc electronic things in there. OR....Maybe as a "survival" box (matches, mag fire starter, poncho, flashlight/headlamp, gloves, emerg. blanket (silver kind), first aid, knife, glow sticks, water filter, 2M HT, flares, snacks, handgun & bullets )

I got the 2200 and missed the 2700 - I'm a little bummed since that's a nice, usable size.

If you don't mind some scratches, the surplus places often have the smaller Pelican/Storm/Hardigg cases. The military gets loads of stuff in these and they get sold in lots several skids at a time. I bid on them once in a while but haven't won any yet.

Default Hardigg cases are great

here's a pic of the big surplus Hardigg (now Pelican) I have, that a fellow Outlaw got for me. I keep all my fluids, spare belts & hoses, tools, some recovery gear and other junk in there. seals up tight and holds all that stuff you know you should bring and rarely need but know you should have it when you are out in the middle of nowhere type stuff.

(Another Outlaw included for scale)

If you get ahold of Caribou Cases, he can sell you the securement latch to hold it in place even with tools inside. Or he can build you a rack for it as well. Mine survived a rollover without moving...
