It's hard to take a bad picture in the desert.

But that moonrise picture is AMAZING!

And I've never seen bighorn in the desert, fun stuff for you guys.

Our experience was quite a contrast to when the Outlaws gang crossed in the Dirty Devil in Sept 08.

The moonrise was UNREAL. Probably the coolest I've ever seen.

That camera takes nice pics Blair. EOS Rebel? what lens you have on that bad boy?

The Sheep are awesome too.

We were fortunate to have Blair's camera to see those bighorns. From the naked eye, we couldn't tell if they were deer, donkeys, or zebra.

Canon 7D, 18-135 lens that came with it. I wish I caught the moonrise a minute or two earlier, when it was more behind the mountain but it works.

What makes a good trip?

Long range planning and a haul across the country
Night wheeling a "challenging" trail
Hiking/boulder scrambling....at night
Desert running
Snow run
Epic hikes
A full moon
Great campfire conversation
Cold beer
A river crossing
Using a winch

Yeah.....this trip had ALL of them.
Best trip of all time. The rubicon was pretty epic, but I think this was overall more entertaining.
