Default Grand Canyon

I'm trying to plan a Grand Canyon 4x4 trip with my brother in April 2012 but I'm having trouble finding routes. The plan is to do some light wheeling and more sight seeing with the family. Anybody have any tips on where to look or routes.

Doesn't look like it. We'll probably hit the Maze instead

You might invest a few dollars in the NG Map and see what else is around.

After I hiked the Grand Canyon a couple of years ago I stayed a few days in Flagstaff. Flagstaff is about 45 minutes South of the canyon. I found out that Sedona is about 30 minutes from Flagstaff. I drove a couple of the trails in Sedona, similar to Moab and very scenic. The town is very touristy, I just drove through and never stopped.

Lots of trails to explore along the North Rim.

North Rim for anything off pavement. South side is all about the tourist and RV.

There are some seasonal closures on the n. side. Check with the NPS.
