Default The 100 series run/ RS Ice racing challenge

Well, for my first event/run with Rising Sun I thought there would be a bigger turnout! Even though the turn out was minimal, the fun was not! My 5 year old and I were the only ones to complete the full event....... I hope that makes us eligible prospectives for The Rising Sun 4x4 Club! A little wheeling, a little sledding, Georgetown Ice Races and breakfast at the Happy Cooker. Thanks to Tim for setting this up. We had a great time, and we'll be back for more! Looking forward to becoming an official RS member at the next meeting!

I had planned to attend but my weekend was rearranged for me and I had to stick close to home. Looks like you had fun.

Hey thanks Stan for the pics! I'm slackin' on that front, obviously.

so we met at a very popular Morrison park & ride, it must have been ski day for 50,000 people. Traffic was packed from Floyd Hill off and on the whole way to Georgetown (per our phones, GPS's) so we decided to just run up Yankee Hill and see how far we could get.

Got most the way through the first section by the fence, it was drifty in a few areas and actually pretty fun. Made a sledding run where we turned around, took a few runs, it was super windy and cold so didn't take long to jump back in the trucks and head back down. Glad you made it all the way to the lake, and thanks again for coming out.
