I wrote BFG about the availability:

This is basically what Discount told me about a year ago, that they couldn't get 33x9.50 ATs anymore.

With the demand that they seem to be getting from a lot of the off-road community, I'm surprised they are continuing to not make them

I don't think the demand is as strong as you think. I think a lot of people end up with the 33x9.50ish metric equivalent on 16" rims where they would have used 15" pizza cutters on their Jeeps and mini trucks before.

I got mine from discount in July 2011. I think they do
a run and sell out, wait and repeat.

Yes, both the MT and AT are still in their catalog in 33x10.50x15.
