Default Moto on the hardcore 4x4 trails?

Just thinking out loud, anybody heard or seen guys moto on trails like:
-Carnage BV
-Penrose
-Independence
-Patriot
-Blanca
-Chinamans
-Holy Cross
-Iron Chest (is this even still open?)

I know Lefthand Canyon was popular, but I think it's closed right now.

I rode part of Chinaman's near BV last weekend. It was the first time I've actually been on Chinaman's. We started at the top and dropped down the side near what I think is Whale Rock. It was steep but quite rideable. Due to a bit of miscommunication, we rode back up the same side and exited on the ATV trail at the top.

It sucks.

Huge.

Trust me.

Unless you are on a trials bike, or for some reason like torture...

Agreed. Do not attempt unless you're with very good riders... Even then it's not that enjoyable considering the many other trails we have in our backyard

I've done HC and Chinaman's. They're not bad, but the truly hardcore ones, Penrose, Carnage, I can't imagine doing. Pretty much need some serious trials skills to do that. Not my bag, baby.

I did a few in Moab but some like Steelbender were just totally exhausting and not much fun. I couldn't wait to get back to the pavement on that one and it shook my gopro off it's mount twice!

Hardest I've done is Poison Spider Mesa in Moab, and Jenny Creek here at home. PSM was a ton of fun, amidst the difficulty, one of those "I can't believe I just rode up that" days.. but the pain factor of not making something was also a little intense.

JC was actually fun, but I lost momentum in the river a couple times and had to put a foot down. Very difficult to get going again in those mossy rocks, and I had a wet foot.

Did JC too last year, I had fun, my dad not so much. Got plenty wet.
