Yamaha PW80. 80cc 2 stroke. Oil injector carb, 14" front tire, 12" rear 25" seat height. 3 speed auto clutch. Craig's list $500. I considered a Honda CRF70 also, advantage Honda 4stroke, downside seat 1.2" taller, and seems more difficult to find used.

The PeeWee 80s are great. Justin learned to ride on one. Great platform to start.

My forearms and triceps are a little sore from moto riding yesterday- it's a great feeling. My right shoulder is a little sore from my tackle drill with a tree.. could do without that one, but glad I wore pads as it would have been a lot worse without it. My thumb still hurts from crashing in Moab..

Both sides of my legs are sore from pulling the kids in the bike trailer yesterday- up to Big Choice, back, then after dinner to ice cream. It's a good 80+ pounds... I rode past one of those radar signs that tells you how fast you're going, got clocked at 7.

All in all, a great weekend. I like bikes.

I was poking through my old pictures trying to find my Tacoma fuse box install for Jim's (dr350jja) other thread, and I came across these shots from a few years ago. I was in Arizona visiting my folks, and went on a little trip with my cousin Jeff and his son (on the Kawasaki). I got to ride his neighbor's 400 XC-W. We rode all over the Tonto Nat'l forest - it was a blast.

I had forgotten about that trip until just now....

How about a focused dirtbag CX racer photo to go with the smiley?
