Default Great Stuff skin removal

Anyone have any tips? So far dish soap, carb cleaner, engine degreaser, and gasoline don't seem to work very well... I have searched on line and all I can find is "wear gloves in the first place" and "only time/skin loss will do it."

Was spraying some fire blocking in the basement ceiling, then bumped my arm into some wet stuff, now I've got a crusty orange mess of hair on my forearm..

Dynasolv - you remember that stuff right?

The expanding foam is a polyurethane. Most solvents won't touch it. I'd suggest 400 grit on a belt sander.

x2

I got a bunch of that awful expanding foam insulation all over my hands a month ago and it took a weeks worth of daily scrubbing with a pumice stone to get it all off.

No, they just say wear gloves, and "Cured foam must be mechanically removed or allowed to wear off in time."
