I'm surprised that a 12v refigerator / freezer has not made the cut yet.. It is without a doubt my favorite pice of camping equipment. I could not believe how nice it was to not have to worry about running to the nearest store to pick up ice, not to mention the cost savings.. Second best is the Dutch Oven...

That is a great piece of gear. I didn't even think about it though as it never leaves my truck and is always on. So in my mind its just part of the vehicle and not gear I take with. But yes a fridge is the best investment I've made into my vehicle. I just take it for granted now.

Kelty Tensile Tarp. Cheap, lightweight, incredibly weather resistant. rigging it properly takes some work, but after you got it down your good to go!

Although I always wrestle with bringing it or not, the RTT is one of, if not my fav camping accessory..

And finally having a vehicle that it does not look too big for isn't so bad either..
