Default Hi all from a Utard

Hi.
I hope im not imposing too much by signing up here, I was just going to ask a few questions, Some of you may recognise my name from Mud.
Anyhow, My family are headed your way Oct. 2nd, We will be in Florence to visit family, Then off to Colorado Springs to pick up a hood for the 80. Then we will be heading back through Ouray to Cortez or Farmington NM. My question is... Do they close Black Bear down? We went over it a year ago in Sept. But I wanted a plan before we make it too far. Then we were going to hit 4 corners and finally meat up with WC in Moab for a weekend of trails.
Any info would be great, Any other fun things to do between?
Thanks!

Dont know about Black Bear open then. Usualy after the Ouray run with the club down there(usualy around the 11th?? It didnt happen this year) Snow is flyin. Think it was last year that they had waist deep powder above 11thousand feet the weekend after out run. Some of the lower trails might still be open then. And that area is good for the fall colors. The Millers might have a better idea of things for you....

Brian, I am one of the newer members here, anyway I'm thinking about going to Moab either the weekend you guys will be there or the next weekend. What days/trails are you guys going to be running that weekend?? Also if we go the first weekend would you mind if we tagged along with your group?

Ben

Hi Ben.
Im not sure what trails we will be running, There will be a fairly good sized group, I do know 1 small group will be doing Pritchet, I will be doing the easier trails, I have kids in tow.
We will be down there Oct. 7-9th
Post up on Mud, Im sure one of us will reply quickly, Our TLCA site is a private one. Just mention Wasatch Cruisers in Moab on mud, We will be more then happy to help.
Good luck
