In Japan, it's called the Toyota GT 86. Here's a story about the aero kit for the GT 86 that may make its way stateside in 2013.

Saw this in the stealership yesterday. $350k ouch...hmmm....car or house....hmmm....I asked the sales drone about driving it, and he said the windshield was $16k. I think a rock chip would be an expensive test ride.

is it crazy that I'd be more interested in a Toyota GT 86 than a Scion FR S even knowing they are identical ???

i think there's something wrong with that....

btw they are running commercials for that now I saw it for the first time last night

And the BR-Z looks better anyway. Better headlights, seats, seat warmers, etc....kind of a no brainer for colorado. Who wants to put money on a turbo option next year? From the sound of it, TRD will offer one sooner rather than later. Ever ridden in a Flying Miata turbo? Holy.... http://www.flyinmiata.com/index.php?...%20BLK%20GAUGE

I rode in one back in Atlanta...it was fast, very fast, guy couldn't shift fast enough fast. I'm not sure exactly which kit he had, but a transformed a "fun" car into a Porsche surpriser.

Had to grab some parts from Stevenson West today and seen this sitting outside the service/parts door. Sharp looking car. Looks like a Maserati..... but smaller, less expensive and not as fast.
