And the last of them thanks to everyone who came out and endured the heat for the day.

Looks like a cool trail. How far is it from Durango? I want to go there, someday.

It's about 45 minutes out of Durango to air down point and trails start right away as you drive up main road. Open OHV area with a network of trails tied together by natural gas access roads. Fall, winter and spring are the best times to be down there due to heat in the summer. Last year with lack of snow we wheeled every month down there. Some years December-February can have snow that will limit access just depends on weather pattern. If you are ever down in the area let us know I am sure we could get a group together to go out.

Default A few pics

This was a really fun trip. It has been a while since we ran upper rim. A fun trail with some difficult options.

You can get a little more info about the trails at Chokecherry at http://www.4x4tricks.com

Thanks Steve, Sarah & Clayton for a fun day! My dad really enjoyed his first time wheeling in the desert. Hope to see you guys again real soon.
