hey matt this is Lars, i thought that when we went up there last time the road to the cabin was ok, it was the bypass from the camp site that met up with the main road that was going to be shut down? If i am reading this right in the above post, then you will not beable to access the old cabin where we had lunch right?

We had talked about several options last fall, but it looks like the Forest Service wants to close that entire area back by the cabin.

Am I reading the map correctly to see the nice camp spots by the creek are being closed??

That would be an incorrect reading of the map. 248.1J is above treeline, and the only part being closed is the illegal part beyond the campsite.

EDIT: There are proposed aquatic passages, which I interpret to be bridges, at the creek crossings.
