Exclamation Vehicle ID Help

I'm hoping to gather up some information about a few rigs I saw that the Rally this past weekend.

I was able to snap a quick photos, but never got to talk with the owner(s).

-Vehicle Numero Uno:

-The second vehicle was a silver BJ70 with a Canada sticker on the back , didn't get a photo; that's all I got on it

Thanks,
-Hadyn

Hadlyn,

First one you asked about would be a 1960's FJ45 Long Bed Pick up. Don't know the owner though.

Is this the BJ70 you're asking about?

More or less who owns them, I'm familar with the models for the most part.

That's what I thought, just an FJ45 LWB. The GR 8000 on the side was throwing me off though.

Yes! That would be her. I talking to Justin from Redline when it rolled by and I just remember him saying it's a member's rig.

I talked to the owner of this 45. I think he said it was a 63. He was asking 112,000 for it but sounded motivated to sell. Said it ran and drove well. That new bed cost him about 6,000.

Nattybumppo - I actually saw the owner drive it a little when everyone was packing up; that bed is brand new too. It's definitely a cool rig, but does anyone know who's it was?

Wes - I just might have to, I got the mule though I fell in love with that thing after I saw it was a diesel.

Wes, is that a serious offer, or just kidding? If serious, I'd be interested to hear how big a "pile" you are looking for. My old man REALLY wants a Bj70. PM me if you have a number in mind.

Cheers!

Holy proud-of-his-rig batman! If he's asking $112,000 for that POS V8J45, I wonder what mine in pristine unmolested stock condition is worth?
