Yes, why is that? The guy that did the 55 front seat was surly, but no where near the douche bag the guy I am dealing with now is.

I don't mind surly, as long as the work is good and the business transaction is solid. When you get none of this, you have a bigger right to be upset.

How far you pursue this from here depends on your tolerance for seeing more of this guy and how much money is involved. I'd just blow it off, pick up the pieces, and move on. How likely is this guy (at this point) to do right by you?

Rigth, I do not know how likely he is to do right.
It is certainly not the worst thing that has happened to me, so I guess I can take it or leave it.
I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and give him a call.
The ace in the hole is I could call the credit card and complain. I had to do that once and the credit card pulled the money back from the business. They got more interested in solving the problem after that.

Well I bit the bullet and called with the mindset of asking simply "How can we get the headrest stops to work?" Nothing more.

The guy was out, his wife answered. She seemed very nice and took a message.

We'll see what happens!

No response to the message I left with his wife, or follow up voice mails.

I called the CC company and said this was not a square deal.

I don't like making life harder for a small business, but I don't like the way he treated me as a customer.

Submitting info to the mastercard people to dispute.

Upholsterer never called back...

Not sure what to do about head rest latches.
