Question Why am I so drawn to this place

Seems to get stronger every year around this time.. Dont know what it is about Vail that I love so much. Think i'm finnaly getting burned out on Denver...... After talking with my friend Greg i'm finnaly convinced that there is $$ up there to be made(just how is the hard part).. One day.....

Yeah I know what you mean. I have been looking for a while for a permanent work-from-home job so I can move up there. I shudder to think what it will cost me to buy a place up there though.

Ok I REALLY should not have clicked that link. I want to ski so bad now and I am not even allowed to run for 3 more months.

My whole family has snow fever BAD! In fact Kelsey (Daughter #2) had her board up here last night cleaning and messing with it. My wife hit Sniagrab and bought new boots and a bunch of stuff. I set up all the season passes and Amy (Daughter #1) has set up her work schedual to free up fridays. Only thing left is frozen rain fall! Perry, your link was cruel! Come on November......

I can't figure it out either.. highway running through town

Anyway. I ski bummed out here. No regrets except I didn't do it for longer or forever . If you seemed to be drawn there I say go try if for a year or so. If you don't you might regret it or always wished you had. I think it's perfect for a young single guy but for a family....

Making money is the easy part finding finding out how far it goes up there is another

Reality is usually a tad skewed as well.

The ski industry lost me a long while ago... somewhere around when lift tickets got to be more than $30/head, that should date me...

On the other hand, the chill in the air, the shorter days, the angle of the sun and yellowing of its light, ...
ELK FEVER!!!

Gotta wait till the night temperatures get comfortable for sleeping in till 3:30 though. Should be right nice come November at 9500ft.
