The Army lets the Rangers use Rovers, maybe the MEDSOVs. Although those look like to me ex-MOD D110 FFR (radio) trucks. Wonder why those would be here. I dunno, cool trucks anyway.

You said you spotted them in "town" but we're assuming you are still in Colorado...So, based on what we know you must be in town in some other country

Apparently not! A near stock Rover beat the pack today at the "Every Mans Challenge" at King of the Hammers! Unfortunately he DQ'ed because of technicalities.

"Some interesting developments at the KOH Every Man Challenge race so far. Jim Marsden of Gigglepin 4X4 from Britain came across the finish line first, followed by John Currie and Gerald Lee. Then Marsden DQ'd himself, as his vehicle had a couple of technical violations, making John Currie the winner of the EMC for the second year in a row. Congratulations to both teams--Marsden for showing class as well as an amazing performance even with those technicalities. He's already entered in tomorrow's KOH race so he's not done racing yet! And also congrats to John Currie and Gerald Lee for winning the EMC once again. They won it in the same Jeep as last year, although with some major modifications that put them in the Modified class this year rather than the stock class they ran in last year. Here are the results so far, let's see how the rest of the field finishes up!

- Jim Marsden DQ
1 John Currie 05:38:39
2 Brandon Heyes 06:16:58
3 Mike Johnson 06:17:52"
