Default Free 2F Block

I have a 2F that I just pulled from my 79 fj40. Domed piston is supposedly bored 30 over. The main bearing on cyclinder #5 is no longer and there is a small crack in that piston. Block may be able to be machined and reused? Cam looks good. Free! I live in Silverthorne but maybe picking up a tub near Boulder this week and could bring it down. Let me know. Steve 303.915.9528

I see things like this and wish I had a place to keep it until I could around to it.
The wife sees the things I am keeping and wishes I didn't do that!

Not sure where I would put it.

In the spirit of helping the block find a new home, could you detail what is included?
Crank? Cam? Head? Oil pan? Belt driven accessories?

Good luck!

Default Main or Rod bearing

Hey Steve,

Is it a main bearing or rod bearing that is spun? This will dramatically change the usefulness of the block.

Been kicking around the idea of building a frankenstein stroker 2F.

If you don't find a home, bring it to my place next time your down here. I'll hoard it for a while.
