Ooh, a torch.
Maybe I should bring the piece and we can torch things after the recovery sessions.
Also, in keeping with my compulsion to post pics of everything...
Pic 1 is assembly, pic 2 shows bolt surrounded by roller, pic 3 is how things are supposed to look by now.

Got it. A few years back in Trails, Mark Whatley recommended a mix of equal parts ATF, Mineral Spirits, Acetone and Kerosene. I use it to soak parts in a covered container. It works well. Mark said he learned it from person at Ruger.

Does it work better than the Aerokroil?

I am sure the Aero Kroil helped, but in the end, it was the press that prevailed.
We chucked it up in the press with a 19mm socket to keep the fairlead end plate from deforming. It squeaked and then immediately gave way with very little pressure. But once the bolt pressed flush with the roller, it was stuck again. So out came the punch again. That was fine until the punch slipped and boogered the top two threads... :sigh:
Fix one thing, break another. Seems to be how I am rolling these days...
