Default replacing blinker bulb on Sahara bumper. 2 questions.

Changed both bulbs (the 1156 and 5007), the little running light now works, but blinker still doesn't work. (getting the fast blink). I'll clean out the socket tonight, as it's filthy. (fog light works, BTW)

1. Is there supposed to be a seal between the lens and base?

Also, I think I traced the correct wires back to a plug at the center of the valence. everything looks snug...and will test the voltage from there. But are there separate grounds or something else I should check?

thanks!

Fast blink generally means not enough resistance for your flasher to maintain a normal pace... usually indicates either you still have bad bulbs, your good bulbs aren't making a connection, or you tried to go LED? I'm guessing door #2, filthy socket- steel wool, grill brush, whatever you got that's sharp & pokey that'll bust up that rusty dirt.

Default perfect.

thanks Nak. I'm going with Door #2, too. (tutu?) the pad of my finger just wasn't abrasive enough while on my back in the parking garage at work during lunch.

I should be indicating my direction more effictively by tomorrow.
