I have one that I can loan as well.

Over the last several years, there are a number of items I have purchased where shipping cost more than the item. I just bite my lip and pay it -- it's usually cheaper than the price of gasoline to hunt all over for a local item, and then I never have to think about it again.

I have heard some people say that is why they went for Amazon Prime, just to get the free shipping and then they don't feel so bad about buying smaller items that require shipping.
