Default 54mm Hub Nut Socket

Does anyone know where I can buy one in town? IPOR and Low Range sell them, but shipping ends up being more than the actual socket. Socket is $15, shipping is $16.

I'm doing brakes/rotors and a bearing repack next week and need to get one soon.

Your local Sears store is a good place, if they have it in stock.

Was that for the 54mm or the SAE equivalent? I got my SAE equivalent from Sears...2 1/8" I think it is? As I recall back when I was looking I couldn't find an actually 54mm anywhere in town close to me.

Your welcome to borrow it...I also have one of those SOR versions that look like a chunk of metal pounded into the rough shape of a 54mm socket

The SAE is 2-1/8", which is a snug 54mm. This works fine but some claim they are not deep enough, never seemed true for me on my IFS truck, though.

Marlin sells a very nice socket, heavy wall and sized right (doesn't slip), which is what I mostly use. He's also out of stock and still not cheap ($25).

Looks like Tool King has both the OTC 6612 and 7612, although they say online only. Dunno.
